Dust Caps

The MC standard Dustcap is designed to maximise the protection of the threads on both the MC Plugs and Sockets. It is designed to screw directly onto the threads on the mating half. We recommend that any units in storage or installed but not in use have a Dustcap fitted, this will ensure that dust, dirt and greases cannot build up on the threads of the mating part and damage or delay their use. Please note these units are not pressure seals.

• Units are available with both Metric and Imperial threads, matching the threads on the mating Plug or socket.

• Units are usually supplied in Red acetal, other colours are available to order to complement your equipment.

• Units can be supplied with or without a fitted cord for ease of removal and storage.

• Please ensure that you choose the correct unit for your equipment, Plugs and Sockets have different threads and the matching Dustcap in not interchangeable.

• MC standard Plugs (usually the floating half of an umbilical assembly).
